Sargam Sangeet is a registered non- profit organization in New York, with no religion preference serving public and social causes in the community. We are an "INDIAN TALENT HUNT ORGANIZATION" that provides a platform, a beacon of hope, giving thousands of aspiring singers and performers an avenue to exhibit their talent season after season under the guidance of some renowned music gurus. It mainly focuses on phenomenal voices, fresh talent and young energetic performers who will give a boost to Indian music in the North America.
Why use the term "Indo-Caribbean"
In our American contemporary society, we see ethnicity as directly related to ancestral origin. In a broader context, we categorize Indo Caribbean people as the Diaspora of South Asia India.
Our mission is to strengthen and unify the social sector, raise awareness, create opportunities among the South Asian Indian community and the Indo-Caribbean American community by advancing knowledge of the rich cultural heritage awareness in the U.S. and around the world.
To help emerging and established individuals amplify their reach by engaging and contesting in social and cultural events raising musical awareness and knowledge. It further aims to guide participants to further enhance their talent and to ensure international competence levels that will lead them to the Indian music industry.
Our goal is to ignite, support and further enhance your artistic abilities by providing a unique platform. Furthermore, we try to make music the "young generation's" leisurely pursuit which will add to their personal growth. Our experience and reach includes cultural events and entertainment industries. We present your musical talent in your unique voice, but with the added bonus of our magnetic style. We look forward to use our contacts, musical skills and charisma to work for you.
